This exchange brought together youths between 14 and 17 years old, from all over Europe: Italy, Bulgaria, Turkey, Latvia, Croatia and Belgium.
It took place between July 11 and July 19, 2017, in Latvia, and was centered around bullying at school.
The youth exchange was prepared during 6 months (one Saturday per month) in Belgium. Before leaving, the youths got to know each other. Together, they prepared a presentation about their country, Belgium, but most importantly, they prepared activities and did a lot of research on the subject of bullying at school.
In Latvia, we discovered the various cultures and different ways that schools are run. We were able to reflect on our own behaviour and think about the situations we observed or experienced, within th scope of the exchange. We also had a cultural visit of the capital.
The project was carried out by Franca, a volunteer with the nonprofit organization Passport for Life.
