Helping youths succeed in school: Cramming Academy

The nonprofit organization Passport for Life offers supervised studying sessions as well as weekends to reflect and prepare for exams. Those moments are an important step towards succeeding in school!

Ready, set, study!

Since 2009, Cramming Academy (formerly known as Collective Cramming)  offers an ideal studying environment thanks to its strict, but warm supervision of the youths.

Collective Cramming  offers several studying and reflection periods during different times of the year:

  • Sessions, during the “real” cramming periods (December, Easter and August)
  • Mini sessions, during studying weekends (twice a year, around or during the exams)
  • Prepping sessions, during some weekends (twice a year around the start of September, the end of January and the end of June)
  • Individual mentoring with a specialized coach, throughout the year

By participating in the cramming sessions, students learn to be more autonomous and become aware of the importance of a good methodology as well as good health practices, especially during cramming periods.

Therefore, taking part in the Sessions enables them to manage their studying efforts autonomously under supervision, to study effectively for 8 hours/day, to avoid being isolated and to be motivated thanks to the presence of the group, to learn to manage their stress thanks to the relaxation techniques that are taught, etc.

Given its extremely high success rate in higher education (95%), we have decided to provide this service to secondary school students (15 years old and up).

Cramming Academy also helps the youths choose a major and helps them be motivated to achieve what they set out to do. In this way, on top of being a service that helps students succeed in school, Cramming Academy also supports their personal development and personal success.
